| Summary | 0003693: connect throttle not working for SSL connections | ||||
| Description | It appears that SSL clients can connect all they want without being throttled. For unencrypted connections throttling works as expected. | ||||
| Additional Information | Fully reproducible under FreeBSD; haven't tested Linux. | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||

I confirm it. |

Hm, I cannot confirm it.. throttling seems to work fine to me with SSL, though there's not really an error message from unreal, this is with 2 connects per 15 seconds, and then the 3rd attempt: [17:03:56] * Connecting to 192.168.5.220 (+5900) [17:03:56] * Unable to connect to server (Host disconnected) (there's no throttling error message, but the user cannot connect) (error messages are too costly to send with SSL) |
