| Description | It would be better if all MOTD´s are send by raw. eg: <- :abc xxx seraphim :- abc BotMessage of the Day - <- :abc xxx seraphim :- 4/7/2007 21:50 <- :abc xxx seraphim :- abc <- :abc xxx seraphim :End of /BOTMOTD command. The BotMotd is sent by servernotice at 3.2.6, at the next Version it should be a raw, because it´s much easyier for coders and scripters to differentiate the different RAW´s then. (sry for my bad english) | ||||

There's actually a reason we sent it by NOTICE.. eggdrops see those. They log it and they dont' with motds/raw |

You can add option for enable/disable this output format, this is not hard to code for 3.2.7/3.3 and 4.0 later. |

I think stskeeps raised a fair point, many bots don't log raw numeric traffic, but those that do log something may log the notice stuff. I think it's fine as-is. |
